SUBJECT  CHOICES – GRADE  10  TO  GRADE  12

Herewith attached find the Subject Choices for Grade 10, and is the curriculum course for your child through to Grade 12.

​

Please take note of the following restrictions regarding the choice in subjects:

​

Mathematics:                   Learners, who achieve over 60% as the year mark in Mathematics, will automatically qualify to take this

                                              subject.

                                              Learners who achieve between 50% and 60% for Mathematics in Grade 9 will be given a choice between

                                              Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy, but will be closely monitored should they choose Mathematics.

                                              Learners, who achieve less than 50% in Mathematics in Grade 9, will be asked to choose Mathematical

                                              Literacy.

 

Physical Science:            In order to choose Physical Science, the learner must have Mathematics as one of their subjects.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE OPTION OF PHYSICAL SCIENCE AND ACCOUNTING IS DEPENDENT ON THE NUMBER OF LEARNERS WHO

                               CHOOSE THIS SUBJECT.

Agricultural Science:       In order to choose Agricultural Science, the learner must have Life Science as one of their subjects.

​

Consumer  Studies:          Please be aware that there will be a subject levy of R200.00 per learner per year.

​
